So, you've been given a spreadsheet of 16,000 commercial property addresses in Copenhagen with the task of mapping the buildings and performing analysis on occupancy type, rental value and lots of other interesting measures.
Question One - how on earth do i turn so many addresses into longitude and latitude for Tableau to ingest?
Thankfully there's an answer: http://www.findlatitudeandlongitude.com/batch-geocode
Simply paste the addresses you have, whether they be British, American or Danish into the Input box and hit "Geocode". The output box gets populated super-fast with the input address along with longitude and latitude information.

Just one thing to note, i found that putting batches of around 300 addresses at a time worked faster then dumping all 16,000 in one go.
